According to a recent article by The Safety Institute, they are investigating whether Trinity, a leading manufacturer of highway guardrails, has safety issues with its redesigned E-Plus guardrail ends. The Safety Institute notes that Nicholas Artimovich, II, an engineer for the Federal Highway Administration, has expressed concerns regarding the ET-Plus’ field performance. The Safety Institute is seeking public access to sealed court records in a case wherein claims of fraud were made against Trinity regarding the redesigned guardrail terminal ends.
